Holiday Cheer, Elk Grove Style 🎁
Elk Grove Township’s holiday programs made a big impact in 2024, serving over 1,200 families—a record-breaking year! Highlights include:
Thanksgiving Baskets: Nearly 900 families received meal essentials, thanks to $14,000 in donations and support from Forest Packaging.
Senior Angel Tree: More than 250 seniors had their holiday wishes granted, from cozy pajamas to classic music collections.
Holiday Gift Card Drive: Nearly 200 children enjoyed gifts through a drive empowering parents to shop for their kids.
Looking ahead, the township’s SouperBowl canned soup drive runs through Feb. 9, followed by MacMadness in March. Donations are welcome at 600 Landmeier Road.

Yuengling Hits Illinois Taps 🍺
America’s oldest brewery, Yuengling, is now pouring in Illinois! Beer enthusiasts can enjoy iconic options like Yuengling’s Traditional Lager and Flight on draft statewide. Tastings are planned throughout Illinois to celebrate the brewery’s Midwest expansion. Later this year, look for bottles and cans in stores, restaurants, and bars near you.
Chemical Cleanup Made Easy 🧼
Arlington Heights residents can schedule a home pick-up of household chemicals this February. $75 covers doorstep collection of household cleaners, batteries, pool chemicals, and more.

New Trustee on Board 🏛️
Schaumburg Village President Tom Dailly has nominated Michael LaRosa as the new village trustee to fill the vacancy left by George Dunham’s retirement. LaRosa, a 28-year Schaumburg resident, brings extensive community involvement, including roles on the Electrical Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, and more.
